Marbles........

Little pale colored round glass beads.
Marbles. Like when you lost yours.
We came across these hiking in the forest.
Maybe they're yours....maybe not.
Either way, they're ours now!!

Shrooms....

It takes just one or two yummy
mushrooms and you can turn into
a zombie, exhibiting all those
unmissable zombie characteristics
like being mobile without a heartbeat,
or the discolored, decaying skin & eyes,
and the groaning instead of speaking,
and being clumsy and violent.
They must be zombie shrooms!!

No one ever suspects the short ones.
They can move about nearly unseen.
Not aging, just fermenting.

End of Summer Sailing.....

The waters go still and dark
The breezes soften....
Peacefully summer comes to it's end
It seems to happen too quickly.....
Oh, come on, don't stop now
don't give in.....
one last time around the lake....again

Balanced Turtle.....

No stunt here. Just one ambitious turtle
out for a little sun. A short climb up the
rock face, a wind check followed by a gravity
check, a little yin, some yang, and she's there.
Well balanced.
